2012.6.28_an awesome day

This is one of the best and the most interesting day so far. We went blue dye, Dharma Drum Mountain, and Juming Museum.

Blue dyeing was a perfect opening for an exciting day, and was the schedule that I was looking forward to the most. The concept of creating the patterns is that the parts we tied up are where we block the dye; therefore appear as the cloth's own color. After demonstrating a few patterns, cloud and small flowers are my favorite, so I decided to make lots of clouds. It took us about 15 minutes for the dyeing process, which was pretty quick and easy. Then it was time for us to see the results! It was worth noted that I was fascinated by how this kind of art possesses its own character, which is so unpredictable that you would never know how the results would be and when it's done, we can never change anything.

Next stop: Dharma Drum Mountain. "When you walk, 1) walk in 2 lines 2) listen to your inner voice, and we will see how this works for you." This is such a quiet, peaceful and a grand place. The most unforgettable experience is the lunch. Although it was vegetarian, it tasted pretty good, and the yogurt is one of my favorites! Many thought it was too sour, but I loved it! The sourer, the better:)

the soup

my serve of lunch ( I like the dumplings and the noodles a lot!)

This is the temple where we prayed for our wishes. I like how it felt around here, filled with hope.

The final stop today is Juming Museum. As an art lover, Juming Museum is one of my favorite art museums, mostly because of the concept of his art works, reflecting thoughts and lives of people.

The military series.

This is what represents the previous artwork.

The Taichi series.

I really like the idea Juming is conveying through the zipper. If you zip up, the pond would be gone; if you zip down, you would fall into the pond!

The below shows Juming's black-and-white series, which enables us to let our imagination fly.

The girl and her may-be-husband.

"No, you can't marry him."The mother opposed.
I adores how Juming created this wall. Water is the brush, and sunlight is the best eraser. We can create whatever we want without the worries of being restricted. How beautiful this is.

Awesome,
is the word of the day.
